Hola there..

Circumference = 3.14 m

=> 2πr = 3.14

=> r = 3.14/(2×3.14)

=> r = 1/2

=> r = 0.5 m. ....Ans

Hope this helps...:)

Given:

The circumference of a circle is 3.14 meters.

To find:

The value of the radius of the circle.

Solution:

The circle's circumference is its perimeter. If we form a straight line after opening this closed shape, then the length of this straight line will give us the circumference.

Let us take the radius of the circle as R.

The circumference of a circle is,

Circumference = (2 \pi R) meters.

 The circumference is 3.14 meters.

Putting the value of the circumference and value of \pi,

\pi = ( 3.14)

3.14 = 2× 3.14 × R

R = 1/2 meters = 0.5 meters

The radius of the circle is 0.5 meters.
