the given function is : y=f(x)=32-x2

since denominator can not be zero:

if 2-x2=0x2=2x=±2

therefore domain is R-{-2,2}

for range:

y=32-x22y-x2y=3x2y=2y-3x2=2y-3y

since square of any number is positive:

2y-3y≥0⇒y∈(-∞,0)∪[32,∞)
