what is the ratio by which the c.p has to be multiplied to get the s.p, if the profit is 10%

minamehar321: 1) Let the C.P. be 100x $

10% profit = 10x$

S.P. = 110x $

S.P. / C.P = 110x / 100x = 1.1

ANSWER Multiply C.P. by 1.1
mihirsharma55: % profit = CPprofit×100

10=CPP×100

∴P=101×CP _______ (1)

Now

P= SP-CP

10CP=SP−CP      (from (1))

SP=1011CP
