Draw a diameter in circle which is d.

now, side of the square= d

and radius = d/2

so, area of the sector= π (r)^2 × (18/360)

=π (d/2)^2×(18/360)

now, area of the square= (side)^2= (d)^2

hence, ratio = area of the sector/ area of the square
