If we consider their radii as same then speed will be directly proportional to angular velocity

Angular velocity of hour hand = 2π/(3600*24) rad/s

Angular velocity of minute hand = (2π/3600) rad/s

Velocity of hour hand / velocity of minute hand = 1/24

If we consider their radii as same then speed will be directly proportional to angular velocity

Angular velocity of hour hand = 2*22/7/(3600*24) rad/s

Angular velocity of minute hand = (2*22/7/3600) rad/s

Velocity of hour hand / velocity of minute hand = 1/24
