Answer:

125 : 100 = \fbox {5 : 4}

Given:

Side of First Cube = 5m

Volume of Second Cube = 1000000m³

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the first cube be → Cube₁

Let the second cube be → Cube₂

► To find the volume of Cube₁

Side of Cube₁ = 5m

  • Volume of Cube = side³

⇒ 5³ = 125

∴ Volume of Cube₁ = 125m³

To find the side of Cube₂

Volume of Cube₂ = 1000000m³

  • Volume of Cube₂ = side³

⇒ side³ = 1000000

⇒ side = ∛1000000 ⇒ 100

∴ side of Cube₂ = 100m

► To find the ratio of Volume of Cube₁ to the side of Cube₂

As solved above, we have got that,

  • Volume of Cube₁ = 125m₃
  • side of Cube₂ = 100m

Ratio = 125 : 100

  • Dividing 125 and 100, both by 25, we get 5 and 4, so,

∴ Ratio = 5 : 4
