vol of cylinder : vol of hemisphere
πr²h: 2/3πr³
πr³:2/3πr³ (it is given height is also equal and
height of hemisphere is it's radius)
3πr³:2πr³
ratio = 3:2

Answer:-

let in the both cylinder and hemisphere they have equal radii and height

so,. height=radius

h=r

Then, volume of cylinder= πr²h

But we know that h=r, then

πr²h=πr²×r

=πr³

And volume of hemisphere= 2/3πr³

Required ratio= volume of cylinder/volume of hemisphere

=πr³/πr³

=3×πr³/2πr³

=3/2

=3:2 (Answer)
