● the rationalising factor of √5 is √5 itself because √5 is a monomial. The rationalising factor of any monomial is always itself.
● As an example √7 is also a monomial and it's rationalising factor is √7 itself.

PLEASE MASK AS BRAINLIEST!!!

YagamiLight: so it is not always the monomial itself
Shreya1001: ya
Shreya1001: the rationalising factor of any irrational monomial is always itself
YagamiLight: but what about√8
Shreya1001: it is a mixture of a rational and an irrational number as it can be written as √8= 2√2
YagamiLight: oh ok
Shreya1001: it's ok
Shreya1001: bye
YagamiLight: bye
Shreya1001: good night dear
