In the reaction between ethanoic acid(acetic acid) and sodium bicarbonate(baking soda) , carbon dioxide is generated.

This is the equation for the full process -

NaHCO3 + CH3COOH → CO2(g) + H2O(l) + Na+(aq) + CH3COO-(aq)
