H2SO4 + HCOOH = CO + H2SO4.H2O

thus CO(carbon monoxide) gas evolved when Formic acid heated with Sulphuric acid.

Carbon monoxide is toxic gas which cause respiratory defects and exploration of these diseases cause even death also
