Is it believable that zombies could take over the world in World War Z.

In fact, the audience into the theatre or keeps the reader turning pages long into run.  

In other words, you would readily accept that a fictional story wouldn't happen in real life.

It is used to creating a believable story even when the setting is fantastic.
