Once upon a time in the age of Mughals, there was a Prince named Khurram who was strolling around his meena bazar and saw a beautiful girl standing with a smile selling a few products. He immediately feel in love with her mesmerising beauty and went to his father, who was the emperor and his name was Jahangir. He asked his father that he is in love with the girl from Meena bazaar and wants to marry her. Jahangir loved prince Khurram so much that he could not said no, and the wedding took place after three years of courtship between the price and Anjuband bano begum (girl from the market).

He was absolutely in love with his wife and named her Mumtaz Mahal that means the jewel of the palace. She was his favourite wife as she had the qualities of beauty with brains.

At the time when she was delivering her 14th child, she passed away because of some complexities. Prince Khurram (by now he was awarded with the title of Shahjahan) was broke and he ordered 2 years of condolence in the whole empire, later he thought of the promise he had made to his beloved wife that he would make a garden tomb, which would be the most beautiful in the world. He immediately hired people and started the construction of the tomb that was ultimately named as Taj Mahal that was derived from the name of the demised queen.
