What is the reason behind food grains containing wearing amount of pesticides residue?

To grow crops farmers use pesticides and fertilizers. by researchers its been found that only 45% of them help in the crops growth. but the remaining just remains on their surface, when they r harvested these pesticides and all come along with them and by their intake our heat gets affected. the grains eaten by animals, birds also has these farm aids. in this way it enters the digestive  canal and spoils health .
