what is the reason for getting vapours from the hot tea

Hot tea gets vapours because hot air is lighter and its rises up and cold air is heavier and settles down

evaporation depends directly on temp.
Since hot tea will be of higher temp. ,rate of evaporation will be more ....and hence we can see more vapours
