The global warming is the increase in worldwide temperature due to release of excess greenhouse gases in the atmosphere.

Global warming is mainly caused by release of gases like CFCs (chloroflurocarbons), Nitrous oxide, methane, Carbon dioxide, etc. They trap earth's terrestrial radiation and increase the temperature. It is also caused by ozone depletion in the atmosphere. Global warming has many effects such as:

1. Rise in sea level

2. Melting of glaciers

3. Floods
