Explanation:

As the number of protons in the atom of the element remains the same throughout the different isotopes of an element.So as the atomic number remains the same then the electronic configuration and the no.of valence electrons will be the same.Thus as all the isotopes would be placed in a single place in a group of the Periodic Table thus all the elements will show similar ionic and covalent bonfong and thus resembling similar properties.
