What is the reason for wind movement A)Ocean water. B)Trees. C)Land. D)Heat from sun
Answers
Answer:
heat from sun.........................
Answer:
A. Ocean water -Surface wind-driven currents generate upwelling currents in conjunction with landforms, creating deepwater currents. Currents may also be caused by density differences in water masses due to temperature (thermo) and salinity (haline) variations via a process known as thermohaline circulation.
B. Trees -The Coriolis effect makes wind systems twist counter-clockwise in the Northern Hemisphere and clockwise in the Southern Hemisphere. The Coriolis effect causes some winds to travel along the edges of the high-pressure and low-pressure systems. These are called geostrophic winds
C. Land -Land breeze and sea breeze are two natural phenomena which shows that movement of air occurs due to uneven heating on earth. Sea breeze: In coastal area, the land warms up faster than the ocean surface. Warm air from the land rises up and creates an area of low pressure.
D. Heat from sun - When the Earth's surface absorbs the sun's energy, it turns the light into heat. This heat on the Earth's surface warms the air above it. The air over the Equator gets warmer than the surface air near the poles.
