What is the reason the matchstick does not catch fire even it contains white phosphorus in it

The rubbing surface has powdered glass and a little red phosphorus. When match stick is rubbed, due to heat of friction, red phosphorus gets converted into white phosphorus and reacts with Potassium chlorate to produce enough heat to igniteantimony trisulphide and starts the combustion.
