What is the reflection of the point (-4, 3) in the line x = -2?

Acc to question, x = -2. that means y = 0.


Therefore the line obtained will be parallel to y axis and in negative x axis having value x = -2 as shown in the image attached.


Now after plotting the point (-4 , 3) we can see that x will be ploted in the negative axis where as y is still in positive axis as shown in the diagram.


Considering the symmetry of the figure the reflection of (-4 , 3) on x = -2 will be (0 , 3).
