Education is that which uplifts mankind. It is the enlightenment of Man. The perfection of the divinity already manifested in him.

EXPLANATION:

Today's man is selfish and self-centric. He values less for his fellow being and focuses chiefly on his own interest. Value education imparts him the knowledge and will power to think about his fellow beings and do something positive and constructive for them.

All social activities fall under value education. Value education teaches us to live for others and not for ourselves. It teaches us service above self. Value education is instrumental to keep the bit of humanity alive in us.
