what is the relation between angle of incidence and angle of emergence at minimum deviation, when a light is passing through a prism.

purnitanath: sir do you know about quantum mechanics.... it's the toughest topic for me
purnitanath: i couldn't understand many topics about Quantum mechanics

angle of incidence is equal to the angle of emergence.

axel31: no you write -2E+E=E
axel31: sorry
axel31: -2E+E=-E
irfanshaik25: see properly -2E+E=-E i written there
irfanshaik25: yeah ..... it means the same.
axel31: no
axel31: oh sorry
axel31: my fault
axel31: you are right
axel31: actually you take same constant

when a ray of light suffers minimum deviation through prism. angle of incidence is equal to the angle of emergence. ray of light passing through prism is parallel to base of the prism. angle of refraction inside the material of prism is equal to half the angle of prism
