Atomic size of an atom is directly proportional to atomic radius of that atom.

Atomic size is difficult to measure because it has no definite boundary. The electrons surrounding the nucleus exist in an electron cloud. You can predict the probability of where the electrons are but not their exact location. Atomic radius is a more definite and measureable way ofdefining atomic size.
