carbon dioxide and carbonate is both are organic compound because it contain carbon



simply we can relate carbon dioxide and carbonate because it contain carbon and oxygen.



carbondioxide is gas.

while carbonate is solid .



in carbon dioxide carbon is linked through two atom of oxygen


while in carbonate carbon is linked with three atoms of oxygen.
