Media are channels through which information is transmitted or through which communication takes place. The relationship between Media and Information Technology in terms of books is not only a one-way relationship. Hard-copy, printed materials are in fact being promoted as a result of e-commerce on the internet.

Technology and media have advanced together. They established an informational ecosystem together.
- If information is so easily available, then the general level of knowledge should increase because both technology and media is there.
- It is equally likely that this will result in a society where nothing is remembered at all and confusion will rule both technology and media is responsible for this.
- The more control we give media and technology, the less ability we give ourselves to distinguish between fact and fiction.
- If we stop filtering our own knowledge and instead rely only on the media, we will accept information as fact without checking its veracity. It is another disastrous relationship between media and technology.
- If we no longer have our own particular bodies of knowledge to use as judgment, how do we know that the answers we are being given are the best?
