where T and f are Time period and frequency respectively.

Explanation:

Time period is related to angular frequency as-

T = \frac {2 \pi}{\omega} \rightarrow (i)

and frequency is related to angular frequency as-

f = \frac {\omega}{2 \pi} \rightarrow (ii)

Hence from (i) and (ii) we get the relation. It is also quite intuitive.
