the relation between maps and winds is that wind made waves when the wind go straight downwards on the sea water and the water of the surface move so waves are formed....

Answer:

1. The fact that the winds cause the waves explains the relationship between the two. The waves formed due to the winds are called wind-driven waves or surface waves.

2. The wind exerts pressure on the surface of the water bodies. As a reaction, water on the surface might rise or fall forming a wave.

3. The size of the waves are proportional to the wind's velocity. More the speed of the wind, the larger is the resultant wave.
