The relationship between a need in society and a system is very close. First of all, a need in society usually is the reason for a system to be conducted. For example, a transportation system is just one example of a system that was developed in response to a need. Another example is child care. Over the past 40 years, the number of families with both parents working away from the home has increased. This meant that society had a need for a system that could take care of these parents’ children. To meet this need, a child care system was developed.
