blood is a type of connective tissue whereas plasma is the matrix of blood so we can say also that plasma is the components of blood

plasma form the 55% of blood in plasma 90 to 91 percent water is present and rest 10 percent of Plasma is made up of proteins salts hormones and other material made for transportation of digested food gases excretory products
