Now dyne and Newton are both units of force; dyne in CGS system and Newton in MKS system. Dyne is that force which produces an acceleration of 1 cm/s² in a body of mass 1 g. Similarly, one Newton is that force which produces an acceleration of 1 m/s² in a body of 1 kg.
