What is the relationship between Gibbs free energy of the cell reaction in
a glavanic cell and the emf of the cell ? When will the maximum work be
obtained from a galvanic cell ?​

In a galvanic cell, the Gibbs free energy is related to the potential by: ΔG°cell = −nFE°cell. If E°cell > 0, then the process is spontaneous (galvanic cell). If E°cell < 0, then the process is nonspontaneous ( electrolytic cell).

The above equation could be used also in order to calculate the standard cell potential. While the concentration of all considerable reacting species is same, E(cell) = Eo(cell) (i.e. standard cell potential and emf of a cell are equal).
