justice is the correction for a wrong whether it is personal or civil.

equality is social, civic and legal concept that every member of the population is essentially the same as every other one.

Justice is about making appropriations towards fairness even in light of past inequality. Equality generally doesn't consider the past. Justice is about making things accessible for all by giving equal opportunities. Sometimes things like wealth are accumulated under very unequal circumstances.
