Pressure belts create wind belts. For example, high pressure belts lie at about 30 degrees North and South latitudes(which are called horse latitudes) and low pressure belt (Equatorial low pressure belt) lies over the equator.Becase of this, winds blow towards the equator from the horse latitudes of the both hemisphere. The winds that blow over this wind belt are called trade winds. These winds are responsible for the formation of the wind cell called the Hadley cell.

What is the relationship between pressure belt and planetary wind
Explanation:
- As the pressure is a region that is dominated by the high and a low-pressure cell and low pressure in the tropical areas as the dominance of the Intertropical convergence zone and the horse latitudes record a high temperature in the 30 degrees latitude and consists of the north and southeast trade winds. With the low pressure in the polar easterlies at the high and low in the 90 degrees.
- The planetary winds that blow through the one latitude to another and are a response to the latitudinal differences and thereby involves the large areas of the globe. The relationships between them are highlighted by the circulation of the earth and rotation of the planet around its axis.
- Similarly, the movement of the westerlies and the easterlies are also affected by the flow and the movement of the pressure cells and the surface winds that move from the west to east and the east to the west.
