The ordinary distribution of electromagnetic radiations according to their wavelength or frequency called ELECTROMAGNETIC SPECTRUM.

1 TYPE OF WAVE IN THE SPECTRUM.

As we know frequency is inversely proportional to the wavelength .
=> if frequency is more then wavelength is least.
so in spectrum Radio wave have highest wavelength and then decrease top to bottom .

part of electromagnetic spectrum is visible to human eye , as the radiation of this part can produce sensation on our retina of eye .

REALATION BETWEEN FREQUENCY AND COLOUR .
if frequency is greater then it more violet and if frequency is lower then it more be red .
similarly in wavelength lower the wavelength it become more violet and greater the wavelength it become more red
=> RED COLOUR HAVE LOWEST FREQUENCY AND GREATER WAVELENGTH
AND VIOLET HAVE HIGHEST FREQUENCY AND LOWEST WAVELENGTH .
