Step-by-step explanation:

As we know that the volume of a cylinder is πr^2h

Again also we know that volume of cone is

1/3 πr^2h

so the volume of a cone

=(1/3) the volume of cylinder

Also when we draw a cone of base = the base of cylinder . we will get 3 cones from one cylinder

Hope u understand well

Answer:

volume of cone is one third of the volume of cylinder

Step-by-step explanation:

Vol. of cylinder = πr²h    so therefore the volume of cone will be:

πr²h/3

Hope this helps  :-)
