More weight means less number of heart beats. It is so as the heart is larger it pumps more volume of blood in beat whereas small hearts pump less volume of blood per beat so they beat faster

Heart is the most important organ of the body. It pumps blood to all parts of the body which carry required amount of oxygen and nutrients.

Generaly a heart weighs 300g in males and 200g in females.

In any case if there is difference in weight i.e increase in the weight of heart the blood pumping capacity decreases due to over weight resulting in the decrease in number of beats.
