☺️ hey mate! here's your answer!☺️

since, p(x) = 2x² - x + 2

so, the factor of p(x) = 2x+1

=> 2x + 1 = 0

=> 2x = 0-1

=> x = -1/2

thus, substituting its value in the equation,

p( \frac{ - 1}{2} ) = 2 {( \frac{ - 1}{2} )}^{2} - ( \frac{ - 1}{2} ) + 2

 = 2 \times ( \frac{ - 1}{4} ) + \frac{ 1}{2} + 2

 = \frac{ - 1}{2} + \frac{1}{2} + 2

 = \frac{ - 1 + 1 + 4}{2}

 = \frac{4}{2}

 = 2

so, remainder = 2

✌️hope it is helpful ✌️!
