Resistance should be 0 as it is always connected in series with the circuit so it should not appreciably change the resistance of the circuit. Therefore resistance of an ideal ammeter should be 0

Whenever u see the world ideal it means that there is no kind of energy loss...
So, here as it is talking about ammeter so u will say that an ideal ammeter will have 0 resistance to measure the correct value but actual ammeter will always have some resistance.
