Electrical Resistance is defined as the obstruction caused to the flow of electrons in the electrical circuit.
R=V/I
If resistance offered is more , current will be less and vice versa.
Electrical resistance of dry Air:
Dry air does not conduct the electricity.
As we know that resistance depends upon the resistivity of the material.
Electrical resistivity of air lies between 1.3 x10⁶ Ohm-m and 3.3 x 10¹⁶ ohm-m which means it offers infinity resistance with no ions in it. this hold same for dry air also.

Answer:

⇒ Electrical Resistance of Dry Air

The resistivity of the air is 1.3 × 10^16 to 3.3 × 10^16 Ω-m at 200 C. With no ions in the gas its resistance is infinity, so same hold true for air also. So, the resistance of any gaseous material depends on the ion content of that gas.
