           Current = 8A

Required to find, Resistance = ?

We know that V = IR

So, 220V = 8A x R

R = 220V/8A

R = 27.5 Ω

∴ The resistance of the coil of wire is 27.5 Ω.

OHM's LAW

I = V/R

I = current

V = voltage

R = Resistance

Solution:

I = V/R

I = 8 A

V = 220V

R = ?

=> 8 = 220/R

=> R = 220/8

=> R = 55/2

=> R = 27.5 Ω

Resistance of the coil of wire is 27.5 Ω
