the resistance of a conductor first depends on the material from which it is made. ... Thus in case when temperature increases , resistance decreases . Area of cross section and length : More the area of cross section , the resistance is less . That is area of section is inversely proportional to resistance .

A device having resistance for passing of a current is called resistor. There are four factors that influence the resistance in aconductor. Thickness (cross sectional area of the wire), length, and temperature. The fourth factoris the conductivity of the material that is used.Hope this helps you.
