here is your answer

Respiration is a process in living organisms which involve the production of energy, typically with the intake of oxygen and the release of carbon dioxide from the oxidation of complex organic substances.

it occurred when Air comes into the body through the nose or mouth, and enters the airways. Airways are the tubes that carry air into our lungs. As they branch out, they become smaller and smaller, and eventually connect to small air sacs where fresh oxygen from the air is exchanged for carbon dioxide in the blood.

respiration (or cellular respiration) is a process in living organisms involving the production of energy, typically with the intake of oxygen and the release of carbon dioxide from the oxidation of complex organic substances

Cellular respiratio nis the process of oxidizing food molecules, like glucose, to carbon dioxide and water; the energy released is trapped in the form of ATP for use by all the energy-consuming activities of the cell; the process occurs in two phases:

Glycolysis: the breakdown of glucose to pyruvic acid

occurs in the cytosol

Citric Acid Cycle: the complete oxidation of pyruvic acid to carbon dioxide and water

occurs in mitochondria
