Respiratory system is an organ system which has the function of breathing and respiration i.e., oxidation of glucose to produce energy units called ATP(Adenosine TriPhosphate). In humans, it consists of nasal cavity, Trachea, Bronchi, Bronchioles, Alveoli and lungs.
