The main responsibility of a headboy is to maintain the decorum and discipline in the school. No matter among students should lead to a big controversy. He too assigns duties to other council members. Also he should not be involved in any wrong matters and on the other hand his duty is to explain students the importance of discipline and if any duty is assigned to him, he should accept it nicely.
