take a testtube half filled with water and add a pinch of flour to it .shake it well till it mix few drops of this is taken in a watch glass and test for the presence of starch by putting drops of iodine in it a blue black colour confirms the presence of starch . now divide it into two test tubes into equal halves . add a tea spoon of saliva inone test tube and mark it . dont add any thing into other tube after sum time add a drop of iodine to testtube containing solution the food becomes like slurry mass after mixing with saliva bolus is formed by mixing of food with saliva
