When two forces act on a body from two opposite directions and their magnitudes are equal, the forces cancel out each other's effects, thus produ mcing no change in the body. So,the resultant force is zero.
Hope this helps!!!!

Heya!!Here is your answer friend ⤵⤵

➡When two forces act in opposite direction they are Anti Parallel

➡The angle between them is given by Cos 90 ( as they are parallel)

➡Cos 90=0

This gives R=0

Hope it helps you ✌✌
