I think ..... The Shakespearean sonnet has the rhyme scheme ABAB CDCD EFEF GG, forming three quatrains (four lines in a group) and a closing couplet (two rhymed lines). The problem is usually developed in the first three quatrains, each quatrain with a new idea growing out of the previous one.

Hey friend,
Here's your answer,
Shakespeare's sonnets are generally structured with three to four quatrains (a stanza of four lines).
His rhythmic pattern is as follows :-
ABAB
CDCD
EFEF
CC
The Shakespearean sonnet is often used to develop a sequence of metaphors, in each quatrain, whereas the couplet provides either a summary in the preceding images or ideas.
Hope this helps!!!!
