the constitution of India was enacted on 26 November 1949 and came into effect on 26 January 1950. Some of the leader who played in its drafting where Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar, Jawaharlal Nehru, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Sarojini Naidu, Doctor Rajendra Prasad and doctor S Radhakrishnan.

it is the longest written constitution in the world. According to its Preamble, the Union of India is a sovereign, socialist, secular, Democratic Republic. The laws of government that is entails are rooted in the basic principles of equality, liberty and Justice. Through various measures and guidelines, the constitution of India in to promote the country's unity and integrity admixed diversity.

right to freedom :-

the freedom is a basic human right and a very significant element of democracy. Right to freedom granted six basic freedoms to the Indian citizen. These are :

  • freedom of speech and expression.
  • freedom to assemble peacefully without arms.
  • freedom to form associations and unions.
  • freedom to move freely throughout the territory of India.
  • freedom to reside and settle in any part of the country.
  • freedom to practice any profession or to carry on any occupation, trade and business

right to freedom also include some important rights, which are as follow:-

  • no person can be deprived personal liberty all except according to procedure established by law.
  • a person, who is edited, will have to be told the reason for such arrests.
  • directed citizen must be brought before the nearest magistrate within 24 hours of their arrest
