storage bags also known as vacuole in plants store fats, carbohydrate, waste of cell, water and nutrients.

Vacuole are the cell organelle bound by a tonoplast membrane. This membrane allows the plants cell to store things inside it in a compact place. Things stopped are generally starch, waste of cell, water and nutrients. These also helps in maintaining osmotic pressure of the plant cell. you must have known about animal cell getting burst in hypertonic solution. In plans it is prevented by Christmas wall and vacuole.
