Hydrochloric acid which is produced in the stomach kills the germs in our food. It also neutralizes the food which is alkaline in nature

As we know , stomach is made up of hydrochloric acid , and also of serval enzymes and too it have a coating which protects lining of your stomach.

Hydrochloric acid helps our stomach to digest food, absorb nutrients like protein etc.

During the digestion process in it , acidic gastric juice is secreted in stomach.
