- Advance technology can detect the occurrence of cyclone much before the occurrence. Hence the meteorological study can warm people much before the cyclone.
- During this period red alert is given and the sailors are asked not to go on shore along with the fishermen. Also people are asked to move to high rise building to prevent floods.
- The BMOH of the area is asked to do the disaster preparedness activities by the health workers of the area to mitigate the ill effects.
